Pakatan's next stop: Istana Negara - Malaysiakini

Pakatan Rakyat’s relentless pursuit to take control of the central government from Barisan Nasional could well take the opposition coalition to Istana Negara.

Pakatan had already sought an audience with the constitutional monarch to stake its claim on the federal government by sending an official letter to the king a few days ago, PAS Parit Buntar MP Dr Mujahid Yusof Rawa told an anti-ISA forum in Penang last night.

If the king grants an audience, which Pakatan leaders hope will happen soon, Opposition Leader Anwar Ibrahim would then produce the names of parliamentarians backing him to convince the monarch that a change in Putrajaya was inevitable.

This waiting game is frustrating indeed.Day after day , the rakyat awaits.
If Anwar goes to the palace alone , this will not be convincing.
All those Mps who are making the switch must appear before his majesty together with anwar.
This will be the greatest story ever post Merdeka era and might causes bn to suffer from epilepsy.

Hopefully the palace will grants Anwar an audience.
If this really materialised , please do inform the General hospital and IJN to have their ambulances on standby in and around putrajaya.

I have my cigar on standby for this occasion Anwar.
We have the confidence and our spirits are high.
We do want to challenge bn fairly by having another round of election.
It is now or we have to wait 5 more miserable gloomy years.
