PKR adviser Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim reiterates his innocence.At a press conference Wednesday at 3pm, Anwar alleged any sodomy charges filed against him were part of a conspiracy by the top police management and individuals in the Prime Minister's office.
Anwar on Wednesday was served with a notice to appear at the Jalan Duta sessions court in Kuala Lumpur on Thursday at 10am. He is expected to be charged with sodomy.
Anwar said the by-election campaign in Permatang Pauh won't be derailed even if he is denied bail. His focus for the campaign is change especially for economic improvement.
He added that he has evidence to prove his innocence.
Anwar's lead counsel will led by Sulaiman Abdullah.
