A state executive councillor here claimed that the Youth and Sports Ministry chaired a Sukan Malaysia (Sukma) supreme committee meeting without inviting executive councillors from the five Pakatan Rakyat states.
State Youth and Sports Committee chairman Lydia Ong Kok Fooi, in a joint statement for the five states, yesterday expressed disappointment with Youth and Sports Minister Datuk Ismail Sabri Yaakob.
The others who voiced their dissatisfaction were Selangor Menteri Besar Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim, Kedah state executive councillor Dr Hamdan Mohamad Khalib, Perak state executive councillor Seah Leong Peng and Kelantan state executive councillor Abdul Fattah Mahmood.
"We are asking Ismail to give an explanation to the people and the five Pakatan Rakyat state governments about what happened."
